All
of our saddles are individually crafted with
the finest leather and attention to

so each saddle becomes a work of art. Below are

The
Buckaroo
Item: SD102
Price: $2,918.00
For those that like the Buckaroo look and utility,
here is a good one. While we normally install flat plate rigging in
this style of saddle, this customer preferred inskirt instead which will put
less bulk under your leg. In my opinion, if installed properly,
it's every bit as strong.

The
Roper
Item: SD108
Price: $2,564.00
This is a great, all-purpose saddle, designed to be tough
enough for the arena or ranch but also great for pleasure. We
can do a lot with pattern design on any of our saddles. This
particular one is mostly plain except for some scroll cutting
in the corners.
As
with all of our saddles, rather than drilling through the
tree, we use dee rings to attach the
saddle strings to the saddle.
Holes drilled through the tree may tend to weaken the tree plus it creates
a place for moisture and rot to begin.
Also,
you can take the strings off to replace them easily yourself
without having to make a trip to your local
saddle shop. To my knowledge, I've never had any pull out or break
(even if they did it would be easy to repair). But If you still
want the other kind, we can do that for you.
Specs on saddle shown:
Tree: Chuck Sheppard Roper
Seat: 16"
Cantle: 3" high x 1.25" dish
Horn: 4 post dolly
Rigging: 7/8 inskirt double
Stirrups: 3" deep roper
